Lou was a breeding stallion without much handling and came to me in November 2023.

 

After the winter of ground work, I first rode him in early March 24.

​

We jumped into showing at Level 2 with just 2 months under saddle.

Moved up to L3 and schooling L5 now.

We had a day of cattle work at the Cross National WE cup and Lou will be quite brilliant at it. 

​

The flying changes are coming well and his balance is improving. We're working towards the Piaffe.
 

 Lou is a natural jumper, so we do gymnastics over small jumps and poles and will look into doing some jumping and cross country shows next year. 

​

Lou is such a pleasure to show, he seems to enjoy the travel and the challenge. 

​

I plan to show him L5 next year and we'll start to look for his person in the fall of 2025.
