2019 Lusitano Gelding

​

Levi was raised, started and ridden on a ranch in Saskatchewan.

With this common-sense, solid foundation of mind and body, he's ready to get FANCY! Levi is a typical example of a lusitano - very sensitive to his rider's seat and mind, he's a strong, agile and light horse who gives his all. He is being trained in a traditional Portuguese way of Vertical balance.

Levi is easy in all lateral work in walk and trot, getting more understanding of the balance and softness every day. 

Amazing canter potential - we're starting counter canter and flying changes. 

We went to a schooling Working Equitation show when we only knew each other for a few weeks.

He did well - he was worried and tense and did his job anyway! I couldn't be more pleased.
 

​I think Levi would fit in to a variety of options...
from the ambitious competitor to a pleasure rider,

he would even make an excellent ranch horse...

He has the potential to perform - and the brains and 

foundation to be a safe, dependable companion.

Because of his relative inexperience and the 

sensitivity and fire of his breed, he shouldn't 

go to a beginner or a timid rider.
